About Nate Ewert, Founder, Healer

Nate started his healing career in 2000.  His private sessions have evolved over the years from general injury massage to being able to aid in healing and awakening in all areas of life. From 2005-2011, Nate spent much of his time teaching massage and bodywork in the Denver Metro area, giving him the chance to expand his knowledge in all things healing related. After leaving academia, and hitting a rock bottom of sorts, several conscious openings and transformations on his healing journey led him to strengthen his intuition and internal guidance. Having studied with traditional shamans and mentored with highly accomplished mediums and healers, he developed his craft in communicating with these higher energies and practices. In addition to private sessions, he teaches group classes exploring divine masculine, intuitive guidance, shamanic journeying, shadow work and Breathwork Healing. Nate is an expert Intuitive Bodyworker, Mindfulness Coach, Angel Reiki Master and Medium, Shadow Work Practitioner, Breathwork Facilitator and Shamanic Practitioner. Nate is the owner of Somatic Synergies Integrated Healing and the creator of Dynamic Alignment Healing for Body Mind and Spirit. If you are interested in receiving a session from Nate, you can book that at Somatic Synergies Integrated Healing.

The Why

Nate's purpose in life is to help you awaken to the fact that your struggles, pains and traumas do matter and that the safety and strength to heal them is within you. Healing is as much an internal process as an external one. This work is about giving space to the process and a helpful nudge, (or elbow), in the places that need it. Awakening and healing your 'stuff' can be a messy process, as is being a human. We all need help in this process at times. Nate created this work to be that space of safety and guidance to navigate your darkest and most wonderful moments with presence, awareness and trust to bring harmony back to your life.

The How

The Internal Path
We believe that there are four steps on the Path to Healing that are nurtured internally. All of our sessions focus on one or more of these steps as we open up the healing process.

Presence - Every session begins with bringing in presence in some form or another. Volumes have been written on what presence means for many different people. For us its is about bringing focus to the moment. Learning to experience what is happening in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit right now.

Awareness - Once presence is invited, we begin opening awareness in the mind, body and spirit to guide the process and uncover the things that are blocking or limiting the healing process. As your awareness opens, the allowance of presence is amplified.

Trust - Many people begin to not trust themselves or bodies after years of evidence that the body is weak or wrong, the ability to make decisions always leads you to where you don't want to be, or you just can't rely on yourself. When we come form a space of present awareness, trust in self is the only thing that can lead us forward. Beginning this process of trusting and forgiving self can be some of the hardest work we do, but is always worth it in the end as it paves the way through our healing journey. Healing can be messy and hard and dark at times. This trust carries us.

Harmony - As we shift and change and heal our old patterns of thought, emotion and movement, a new resonance of being begins to come in. This resonance harmonizes our very being into a new existence. This is the process of integrating the new choices from presence, awareness and trust into your every moment.

External Applications
The techniques used fall into four categories also: Bodywork, Facilitation, Energetics and Integration and many cross two or three categories. We have many modalities to draw from, these are a few of them.

Advanced Bodywork - These are all hands on techniques used to facilitate change and support healing on the physical level. They may include structural bodywork, cupping, scraping, cranial sacral, sports massage, stretching, etc.

Energy Healing - Energy work comes in many forms. Our sessions bring in things like Reiki, Healing Touch, Chakra Healing, and Shamanic Practices to encourage the energetic flow and break through barriers that the bodywork may not.

Mindfulness - The mind is a powerful tool that creates many definitions and behavior patterns that can serve and harm. The facilitation mindfulness  helps to bring conscious awareness and new choice to our unconscious or shadow patterning. Our bodies hold on to many things that our mind decides is necessary, until we bring it into our awareness and choose something different.

Trauma Release - Sometimes bodywork, sometimes movement or breathing exercises. All of our trauma release work is about encouraging the nervous system to let down and create more of a balance between our fight/flight/freeze system and our rest/digest system.

Breathwork - Used to create awareness and immediate change, the breathwork we use is about opening presence with whatever is happening in the moment so that it can be felt, processed and healed.

Intuitive Guidance - Spirit is always invited on the healing journeys we take our clients through. Intuition can look like many things. It could show up as spirit guides, angels, messages from oracle or tarot cards, or perhaps just a gut feeling or series of synchronicities. You will be invited into understanding that there is something greater guiding us and it is another helper on your journey back to self.
